Everbats

Everbats are a closed species that I'm working on. I will add more as I work on them more.

Appearance:
Everbats are about the size of a large dog and are very sleek. They have no fur and their skin is a similar texture to a gecko. They have three horns in front of their eyes and on their cheeks which protect them as their eyes are incredibly delicate. However this means they cannot see very well. The have their eyes closed and use the eye on their tongue to see. They have two tongues, one with the eye which is always out and is quite gooey in texture and another which sits above the eye tongue and is only used for eating. This tongue has a smooth underside so it does not scratch or harm the eye tongue. They have two rows of razor sharp teeth.
They also have horns on the sides of their faces, this number can vary and the can be different sizes. On rare occassions horns can be seen on the necks and flanks of the everbats.
They have large ears and use these to listen out for any prey or predators. The insides of their ears are the same colour as their necks. Super rare everbats can have more than one tail.
Their front legs have sticky pads which help them to climb and they have three fingers and one thumb which allows them to grab food and hold things.
Every everbat has a pastel coloured neck and chest. The eyes on their tongue are a more saturated version of the colour of their necks. In the rare case the everbat has more than one eye on their tongue the eyes will be different shades of the colour of their neck.
Marking wise they can have any kind of markings and there are no set patterns. No two everbats are the same in their markings. The only thing each everbat have in common marking wise is their neck, which will always be pastel.

Diet:
Everbats are omnivores and while their diet mostly consists on fruits and vegetables they have been known to eat small rodents and other small mammals. They can survive wholely on fruits and vegetables but they won't pass up the chance to eat meat.

Behavoir:
Everbats are mostly a friendly species but become very viscious when they feel threatened or when anyone approaches their young. If attacked by a predator they can drop their tail similar to a gecko and use that as a distraction to get away. Depending on the everbat their tail may or may not grow back.

Other facts:
Everbats are a wild species and while they can be domesticated they are more suited to being in the wild.
They are incredibly smart
They are telepathic as they do not have any vocal cords.
The eye on the tongue has a thin eyelid like a crocodile that protects them from any damage.
Super rare everbats have been known to have bat like wings.
